History of CCA

CCA was founded by Melanie Scheibenpflug and Linda Wellins in September of 1999. Both had experience as programmers at CIGNA in Bloomfield, CT in different departments but with overlapping responsibilities. Over the course of their parallel career changes, they transitioned from the IT side to the business side of computers and software applications. After successfully managing the implementation of technology for various employers, they decided to form their own business.

In June of 2010, Linda left CCA for other career opportunities. Melanie remains at the helm of the 11 year old company.

Melanie graduated from the University of Hartford with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Mathematics.
